Novitec Ferrari F8 Tributo Spider Debuts with 802 Horsepower, Bodykit, & Wheels
The Novitec Ferrari F8 Tributo Spider debuts from the aftermarket tuner with 802 horsepower, a bodykit, and wheels. In addition, it features sport springs, a hydraulic front lift system, and exhaust. Novitec can even custom tailor the interior to meet any client wish. The individual parts are already available to order. However, you would need to contact Novitec for their price.
Performance Specs
The Novitec Ferrari F8 Tributo Spider is powered by the same 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine as the standard model. However, thanks to the Novitec N-Tronic control module engine tune it produces additional specs of 82 horsepower and 88 lb-ft. of torque. As a result, the Novitec F8 Spider produces specs of 802 horsepower and 662. lb-ft. of torque. That allows the drop top model to achieve a 0-60 mph time of 2.5 seconds and a 0-120 mph time of 7.7 seconds. If it keeps going it will achieve a top speed of 211 mph.
Exhaust
A specially developed the Novitec high-performance exhaust system and 100-cell metal catalysts is available for the Ferrari F8 Tributo Spider as well. It is a completely thermally insulated system that comes with or without actively controlled exhaust flaps. In addition, an Inconel variant is available for owners who want weight savings for their car. Inconel is a high-end alloy used in Formula 1 racing to fabricate exhaust systems. Furthermore, to optimize the heat dissipation further, this system is also available with 999 fine-gold plating.
Bodykit
The Novitec Ferrari F8 Tributo Spider features a bodykit composed from carbon fiber. The precise-fit components can be painted in body color or can be ordered in a naked-carbon version with high-gloss coating. The face of the powerful mid-engine sports car is visually enhanced with a two-piece front spoiler. This upgrade reduces aerodynamic front-axle lift, which optimizes the handling stability at high speeds. Carbon flaps on both sides of the bumper also direct the airflow even more precisely into the cooling air intakes.
In addition, there are carbon fiber inserts for the hood, the panel in front of the windshield, side mirrors, and door handles. Side skirts also help give the F8 Spider a lower and sleek visual stance. In the rear you can choose from either a spoiler lip or a more aggressive ducktail style rear spoiler. Lastly, a full carbon fiber diffuser with fins complete the look.
Wheels
The Novitec Ferrari F8 Tributo Spider pictured here is fitted with the Novitec NF10 wheels. They feature a five twin-spoke design and a hub cover in center-lock look. The wheels are created in collaboration with wheels manufacturer Vossen and are available in a wide range of colors. Thanks to the use of hi-tech forging and machining technology, these rims are very light despite offering maximum strength. They features specs of 21x9J at the front and 22x12J in the rear. Furthermore, tire specs are 255/30 ZR 21 and 335/25 ZR 22.
Suspension
Novitec springs lower the Ferrari F8 Tributo Spider by about 35 mm. This further optimize the handling thanks to the lowered center of gravity. In addition, a hydraulic suspension system increases the F8 Spider’s daily practicality. It allows the front end of the car to be raised by 40 mm at the touch of a button in the cockpit. This helps when navigating curbs or parking garage ramps. The front end reverts to its original position at another touch of the button or automatically upon reaching a speed of 50 mph.
