Novitec Ferrari F8 N-Largo Spider Specs: 818 HP, 0-60 MPH in 2.5 Seconds
The Novitec Ferrari F8 N-Largo Spider debuts with a widebody kit and packing specs of 818 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of just 2.5 seconds. They already Its price has not been announced. However, it is speculated to have a price in the $400K range. Production will be limited to just 15 units. The Novitec F8 N-Largo Spider is already available to order and has a released date of sometime next year.
Performance Specs
The engine electronics of the F8 N-Largo Spider are upgraded with two plug-and-play NOVITEC N-TRONIC control modules. They introduce special mapping for injection and ignition as well as enhance the boost pressure control. As a result, the Novitec Ferrari F8 N-Largo produces specs of 818 horsepower and a peak torque of 666 lb-ft. For reference, a stock F8 produces specs of 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft. of torque.
Thanks to the increase in power the limited edition model accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds and reaches a speed of 124 mph after just 7.7 seconds. It’s top speed is now over 211 mph as well.
Exhaust
The Ferrari F8 N-Largo Spider also includes a Novitec high-performance exhaust system. It is available in stainless steel or the especially light material INCONEL. Both versions also come with or without actively controlled exhaust valves. The two large tailpipes feature a combination of carbon and stainless steel and are optimally integrated into the N-LARGO diffuser.
Furthermore, the sport exhaust provides reduced exhaust backpressure and is fully thermally insulated. This can be further enhanced with 999 fine-gold plating, which is also available for the optionally offered 100-cell sport catalysts.
Widebody
At the front axle, the Novitec F8 N-Largo Spider adds seven centimeters in width compared to the production car. This comes courtesy of the wider front fenders, which replace the production fenders entirely. The rocker panels create an optimal aerodynamic transition between the front and rear flares as well. In addition, the front and rear fascias were adapted to the wider fenders and fully replace the production bumpers. The N-Largo hood with scoop also optimizes the air circulation in the engine bay.
The front spoiler is enhanced with side flaps and gives the two-seater a decidedly aggressive look. The shape was optimized in the wind tunnel and reduces aerodynamic lift. This further improves handling stability at high speeds. Lastly, the combination of a large rear spoiler in pronounced “ducktail” design and diffuser integrated into the N-Largo rear bumper generates more aerodynamic downforce.
Suspension
Novitec installs special sport springs to lower the ride height of the Ferrari F8 N-Largo Spider by about 35 millimeters. This gives it a sporty appearance and further optimizes handling. In addition, steep ramps such as those in parking garages or speed bumps are easier to navigate with the optional front lift system. At the touch of a button, the hydraulic level adjustment raises the front axle by about 40 millimeters. The vehicle also returns to the driving position at a second touch of the button or automatically at a speed of 50 mph.
Wheels
The Novitec F8 N-Largo Spider sits on tailor-made NF10 NL hi-tech forged wheels made in cooperation with American high-end manufacturer Vossen. The wheels are extremely concave forged wheels with five delicate twin spokes and are developed specifically for the widebody. The wider front fenders accommodate size 21 x 9.5J wheels mounted with 255/30 ZR 21 tires. Furthermore, the larger rear fender wells offer space for the NF10 NL wheels in a size 22 x 12J wrapped in high-performance 335/25 ZR 22 tires.
Price and Release Date
As we mentioned above, only 15 units of the Novitec Ferrari F8 Tributo N-Largo will be produced. However, there is no word on its price has not been revealed. It is expected to have a price in the $400K range and a release date of some time next year.
