Mercedes-Benz A-Class Dead In the US After 2022
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class is the smallest sedan in the lineup and will be discontinued in the United States beginning next year. This is according to a report from Automotive News who obtained a dealer memo where Mercedes has informed dealerships of its plans to discontinue the A-Class after 2022. Reasons for the cancellation are low sales volumes which have decreased dramatically from 2019 to 2021. Mercedes also sells the CLA-Class which is very similar in size and more popular than the A-Class. The report confirms the CLA will remain and the GLA compact SUV will now be the new entry-level model.
