Maserati Grecale Price, Specs, and Release Date
The Maserati Grecale debuts as a new mid size SUV that will join the lineup slotting under the bigger Levante. The Grecale will be available in three model trims at launch: GT, Modena, and Trofeo. In addition, the Grecale Folgore will be available later on with a fully electric powertrain. The new model also has a release date of this Fall. The entry level Grecale GT has starting price of $64,995.
Specs
Trims
As we mentioned above, the Maserati Grecale will have three trim level options available at launch. This includes the GT, Modena, and Trofeo trims. The Grecale GT is powered by a four-cylinder mild hybrid engine producing specs of 296 horsepower. The Grecale Modena also features the same engine but produces specs of 330 horsepower.
However, the Grecale Trofeo is the high performance model with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine producing specs of 523 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. It is based off the new Nettuno engine in the Maserati MC20 sports car. As a result, it can achieve a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 177 mph. Lastly, the Grecale Folgore will debut later on with a full electric powertrain.
Modes
The Grecale features the new Maserati developed Vehicle Dynamics Control Module (VDCM). It has 100% control over he vehicle and can transform the ride to handle different situations. For instance, the different driving modes include Comfort, GT, Sport, Corsa (Trofeo Only), and Off-road.
Dimensions
The Maserati Grecale GT is 4,846 mm long (191 inches) with a wheelbase of 2,901 mm (114 inches). It also has a height of 1,670 mm (66 inches) and a width of 2,163 mm (85 inches) (including wing mirrors). Lastly, its rear wheel track is 1,948 mm (77 inches). However, the performance Trofeo model has an even wider rear wheel track.
Interior
The interior of the Grecale features a 12.3″ central screen which is the largest ever in a Maserati. It also has another 8.8″ display with extra controls and a third screen in back for rear passengers. In addition, everything is managed by the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) Multimedia system with Maserati Connect.
Furthermore, the Sonus faber 3D premium sound system is included in its price. It features 14 speakers. However, 21 speakers are available with the High Premium level option.
Price and Release Date
The 2023 Maserati Grecale price starts at $64,995 for the GT trim. In addition, a limited edition launch version of the Modena has a starting price of $78,895. Lastly, the price of the Maserati Grecale Trofeo or Folgore has not been announced yet. The new SUV has a release date of Fall 2022.
