Ferrari BR20 Based Off GTC4Lusso is One of One
The new Ferrari BR20 debuts as a one of one model based off the GTC4 Lusso that was built by Ferrari’s Special Projects Division. The Special Projects Division builds exclusive models for Ferrari’s wealthiest clientele. The BR20 was designed as an homage to Ferrari Coupes of the 50’s and 60’s. There is no word on its price of who the client is that commissioned it.
Design
Although the Ferrari BR20 is based off the GTC4Lusso it has a completely new body. The BR20 is actually three inches longer than the GTC4 Lusso. The front end has a new grille design and new headlights. The roofline is longer and slopes sharper to the rear similar to coupes from the 50’s and 60’s. In the rear, the BR20 keeps the dual taillight look from the GTC4Lusso. However, it has a more aggressive rear bumper and diffuser with active aerodynamics. Lastly, it rides on unique wheels exclusive to the BR20.
Engine
Performance specs have not been revealed. However, Ferrari has stated the BR20 is powered by a V12 engine. The GTC4Lusso is also powered by a 6.3-liter V12 engine producing specs of 681 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Power gets send to all four wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission. It is likely that the BR20 is powered by the same engine but tuned by Ferrari to produce much more power.
Interior
The interior of the BR20 is the only part of the car that is similar to the GTC4Lusso. It has been finished in two different shades of brown. The seats are done in dark brown leather and features silver stitching. The in back, the rear bench and luggage compartment are don in oak trim with carbon fiber accents.
Price
As we mentioned above, the BR20 was commission by a wealthy, long time Ferrari client. Ferrari has not revealed what its price is. For reference, the GTC4Lusso price was around $300K. Since the BR20 is one of one, it is possible to have a $1 million price or more.
