2022 BMW M4 CSL Spotted Testing at the Nurburgring
A potential 2022 BMW M4 CSL that could be even more hardcore than the standard model has been spotted running laps and testing at the Nurburgring. The video was posted by the CarSpyMedia YouTube channel. Even though the car is partially covered in camouflage we can still spot that it has upgraded aerodynamics. For instance, we can make a out a front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, and trunk spoiler. In addition it could possibly have a new front hood.
CSL
CSL stands for ‘Coupe Sport Leichtbau’ which translates to ‘lightweight construction’. However, it is also possible the model could be a new 2022 M4 CS and not a CSL. In addition, expect the model to weigh a lot less that the standard model thanks to the use of carbon fiber and other weight reduction methods. Furthermore, the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six could develop more than the standard 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. It should have a quicker 0-60 mph time and higher top speed as well
Release Date
