2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Has 689 HP
The 2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid arrives as the flagship Panamera model packing 689 horsepower and 642 lb-ft of torque. It completes a trio of Panamera hybrid models including the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid. In addition, all models are available in Sedan, Sport Turismo, and Executive (long-wheelbase) versions.
2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid
Performance Specs
The 2021 Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is now the most powerful variant in the model line and is the second most powerful car Porsche currently sells. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 producing 563 horsepower. In addition, it has an electric motor that’s integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch (PDK) transmission and produces 134 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. In combination, they can produce a total of 689 horsepower and 642 lb-ft of torque.
As a result, the 2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid can achieve a 0-60 mph time of 3.0 seconds and 0-124 mph time of 10.9. It can also achieve a top track speed of 196 mph. Furthermore, these specs apply to both the Sedan and Sport Turismo. The Turbo S Executive (long-wheelbase) model is only 0.1 seconds slower to 60 mph.
Comfort and Handling
The 2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid features a new generation of steering control calibration and new tires that further improve lateral dynamics and handling. In addition, it comes standard with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC Sport), Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV Plus), rear axle steering with Power Steering Plus, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB).
2021 Panamera 4S E-Hybrid
Performance Specs
The 2021 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 producing 443 horsepower. In combination with the same electric motor in the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid it can produce up to 552 horsepower. In comparison to the Turbo S, it can achieve a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and top track speed of 185 mph.
2021 Panamera 4 E-Hybrid
Performance Specs
A twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 also powers the 2021 Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid. However, together with the electric motor it only produces 455 horsepower. As a result, it can achieve a 0-60 mph time 4.2 seconds and top track speed of 174 mph.
High-Voltage Battery
The high-voltage battery found the 2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and the other E-Hybrid models has an increased capacity. Thanks to the use of optimized cells and updated driving modes, capacity increases from 14.1 to 17.9 kWh. Furthermore, the models can charge at home using a 120V or 240V outlet. A model-specific charging capacity of 7.2 kW is possible using the standard Porsche Mobile Charger.
Price and Availability
The 2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid price is not available at the moment. That goes for the other hybrid models as well. However, you can place an order starting early next year with models arrive at dealerships Spring 2021.
